Metered Utilities Specialist

LCS is seeking a Metered Utilities Specialist whose primary function is to manage customer utilities and rate reviews.

Essential Functions

• Core functional knowledge of utility operations and rate schedules
• Ability to accurately read and interpret utility tariff sheets
• Foundational understanding of utility billing process and regulatory compliance
• Manage and complete all facets of assigned projects: define/create requirements specifications, scope of work documents and estimates; develop/deliver projects within established deadline
• Define, set, and clearly manage expectations with customers and team members.
• Manage multiple ongoing projects and ensure they are delivered on time and meet or exceed expectations
• Have a strong knowledge of mathematical and equation functions
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills

Eligibility Qualifications

• Experience calculating and interpreting utility usage
• Excellent customer service
• Strong diagnostic skills with ability to research, troubleshoot and logically determine solutions
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and appointments in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter
• Ability to ask appropriate discovery questions to gather project requirements
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to navigate websites and investigate for project usage
