The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology and tools to assist you in delivering optimal care.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans focusing on restoring functional mobility, reducing pain, and preventing disability, in accordance with physician directives.Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools to guide treatment decisions.Guide and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in delivering appropriate care and ensure compliance with established treatment protocols.Administer various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as traction and massage.Evaluate home environments to determine necessary modifications and enhance clients' independence.Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to review and adjust care plans based on patient progress and feedback.Document all clinical interactions thoroughly and accurately in compliance with regulatory standards, inclusive of initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation protocols and the use of therapeutic equipment.Maintain a proactive approach in monitoring patient health outcomes and modifying treatment plans as needed.Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.Patient Population / Client FocusThe ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Our clients range from young adults to seniors, often facing mobility challenges that require tailored rehabilitation strategies. You will focus on enhancing their functional independence and overall quality of life through individualized care plans.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.Current and valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia, in good standing.At least one year of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an outpatient or home health setting.Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient and family engagement.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team environment.A growth mindset with a passion for ongoing professional development.In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations and standards governing physical therapy practice.Preferred ExperienceExperience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain clinical documentation efficiently.Background in working within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.Familiarity with advanced treatment modalities and techniques relevant to outpatient therapy.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
