Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: CVOR \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: 09/30/2026 \n Duration: 12 weeks \n 40 hours per week \n Shift: 10 hours, days \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n TRAVEL - CVOR Tech \n 13 weeks \n Wichita , KS \n Shift - 7A - 5P Must be vascular trained \n Unit Information: Open Heart / (703) \n Location: Wesley Medical Center \n Address: 550 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67214 \n Floor: \n Building: Main \n \n General Information \n Tell us about the unit(s): \n \n Number of Beds – 2 heart rooms with a 3 rd possible \n Number of Staff – 4 RN, 3 CST \n Type of staff: \n \n Day Shift – 1 CVOR RN and 1 CVOR CST \n Night shift – No night shift, on call only \n \n Patient Ratios – 1:1 \n Type of equipment - \n EMR – Meditech / CPN \n \n Typical hiring profile \n Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) \n Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. \n \n Minimum 6 months' current CVOR Tech hospital experience \n BLS \n NBSTA Certification \n Must have current active KS licensure \n Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Certification \n Must be Vascular trained \n \n Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. \n \n ACLS \n Open Heart and Cardiovascular experience \n Prior Meditech experience \n \n List typical procedures performed on unit(s): \n \n CABG and AVR \n MVR and TAVR \n \n Best personality Fit: \n \n Confident, team player and positive attitude \n Patient experience is a priority \n Communication with staff and providers \n \n \n Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. \n \n \n On call is required – 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month \n \n \n Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment : \n ECMO program restarting \n AlliedTech1\n \n \n TB_RN\n \n TalentBurst, Inc Job ID 26-29792.
