Cash Application Specialist

LanceSoft, Inc.

We are seeking a Cash Application Specialist to support commissions, revenue, cash application, and payment reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cash applications, accounts receivable, payment discrepancies, and Oracle , along with strong attention to detail and professional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Support cash application, commissions, revenue, and payment processing activities.
Research and resolve overpayments, underpayments, and payment discrepancies using Oracle.
Accurately apply and reconcile payments to the appropriate accounts.
Assist with policy builds and related financial processing activities.
Communicate professionally via email with clients and insurance carriers regarding payment and account-related matters.
Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to cash application activities.
Work closely with client-facing and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate financial transactions.
Support the team's transition toward a new cash application system .

Required Qualifications

Experience in cash application, accounts receivable, payment processing, or payment reconciliation .
Experience researching and resolving overpayments, underpayments, and payment discrepancies .
Experience working with Oracle or a similar ERP/financial system .
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written communication skills, particularly for external email communication.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment .
Dependable, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with insurance carriers or insurance-related financial transactions .
Knowledge of commissions, revenue operations, billing, or policy administration .
Experience with cash application system implementations or process transitions.
Strong Excel and reconciliation skills.
