M&A, Investment Banking Analyst (New York, US)

Alantra is seeking to hire an Investment Banking Analyst to support its M&A and capital‑raising advisory business in our New York City office. The role requires at least 12 months of relevant experience and offers a collegial, entrepreneurial environment with significant responsibility and long‑term growth opportunities across our U.S. and overseas offices. Responsibilities Conduct industry research and perform individual company analysis. Develop financial analysis and models. Support the creation of client proposals and presentations. Manage the data room and coordinate the due diligence process. Recruit, supervise, and develop interns. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements At least 1 year of investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or similar experience. Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record; business, economics, finance, or accounting majors preferred. Knowledge of M&A and capital‑raising practices. Solid finance/accounting knowledge; ability to analyze and value businesses. Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills. Excellent analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills. Team player mentality with the ability to work independently. Strong organization skills with ability to multi‑task and prioritize deliverables. Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills; expert in Excel and PowerPoint. FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses are required, or to be obtained within the first six months of employment.
