TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Hazard, Kentucky, 41701!

Job Title: Step Down Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of previous PCU/Step Down experience required License: Kentucky or compact license required Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIH required Must-Have: - Float required within scope of practice - Every other weekend required - Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated Description: 3 South Step Down unit has a patient ratio of 1-4/5. The assignment may involve fluctuating ratios based on census and call-ins. Resource must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be considered. All facilities work a schedule of 36/48 hours for a two-week pay period unless noted otherwise. Travelers must accept an 84-hour schedule over two weeks, with one week consisting of 3 shifts and the next week 4 shifts. Travelers are expected to work either a major or minor holiday. Two references are required: one charge nurse or higher and one supervisor reference. Both references must be completed within the last year. A copy of certifications is required for submission. Travelers who cannot accept the scheduling requirements will be cancelled. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will not be considered. Any license hits or background check issues must be submitted upfront. After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break from the system before being eligible to return.
