Title: Nursing - Surgical Trauma

Schedule: Night 12x3

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekly Contract Weeks: 8

Requirements:

• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty
• Experience with EMR (EPIC required)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a high acuity surgical trauma floor.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including those with surgical needs, gunshot wounds, quads, and paraplegic conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuous and effective patient care.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes:

• No RTO allowed.
• Must be willing to work assigned shifts; no block schedules available.
