Job Opportunity: Body or Neuroradiologist

Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent healthcare facility in Queens, NY, is on the lookout for a full-time Body or Neuroradiologist. This facility is a 545-bed tertiary care center and an ACS-verified level 1 trauma center, situated in a vibrant and diverse community. The radiology team here is composed of a dedicated and knowledgeable group of radiologists, technologists, nurses, and support personnel. Our radiology department is equipped with 4 CT scanners, 1 MRI machine, and a state-of-the-art Siemens biplane interventional suite, which plays a crucial role in our new stroke program.

Key Responsibilities

• Primarily focus on interpreting diagnostic imaging studies, particularly in cross-sectional imaging such as CT, ultrasound, and MRI.
• Work daytime shifts from Monday to Friday.
• Participate in minimal on-call duties, which include a few Saturday and Sunday shifts throughout the year.
• Explore moonlighting opportunities during evenings and weekends.

This is a unique opportunity, as turnover within our radiology department is exceptionally low, with many radiologists choosing to remain at this facility for decades. Qualifications

• A medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology.
• A valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A solid work ethic and a commitment to being part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Additionally, a faculty appointment with our affiliated medical school will be offered, based on the candidate's credentials, experience, and qualifications.

Compensation

The salary for this full-time position is structured as follows:

• Board Eligible: $425,000
• Board Certified: $450,000
• Board Certified with ACGME Fellowship: $475,000
