Valley Foot & Ankle Specialty Providers (VFASP) is growing, and we’re looking for a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient physical therapy team in Fresno, California.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver hands-on patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients through individualized rehabilitation and recovery programs
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance work, and functional movement activities
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising therapists
• Accurately document treatments and patient outcomes using EMR systems
• Help create a positive, encouraging, and supportive patient experience
• Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure high-quality patient care

Patient Population

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll work with a variety of patients, including:

• Post-surgical rehabilitation
• Orthopedic injuries
• Chronic pain conditions
• Balance and mobility deficits
• Sports-related injuries
• General outpatient physical therapy patients

PTA Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
• Passion for patient care and helping people improve their quality of life
• Outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
