About the Position

Job Title: OR RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience in Trauma; Scrubbing required Description: Hiring Process includes profile review and interview with unit manager. Ensure clinicians are in state for the week of orientation even if first day modules are remote. Average number of cases per day is 35 on weekdays and 10 on weekends. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS. Common cases involve orthopedics, neurology, and general surgery. No charge nurse or house supervisor duties are required. Weekend shifts are from 7 AM to 7 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. No weeknight or call requirements are necessary. Holiday work is required if scheduled on a weekend holiday. Call response time is 30 minutes. There are no floating requirements. Scrub color and dress code will be provided. Cancellations may occur, with the facility able to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. The charting system used is EPIC.
