Part-Time Seasonal Sales Associate/Cashier The National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion offers a part‑time, seasonal, 32‑hour per week position as a Sales Associate/Cashier. This role does not provide benefits and is expected to last through October. Responsibilities This position assists in the day‑to‑day operations of the shrine’s Gift Shop and Café. The associate will take charge of the shop and café in the absence of the manager, maintain transaction records, and work closely with the manager to keep all records up‑to‑date and accurate. Qualifications and Skills Graduate from high school (or GED equivalent) with customer‑service experience preferably in a retail environment. Experience supervising others (a plus). Computer/cash register experience necessary. Accurately handle monetary transactions. Strong verbal communication skills. Proficient with computer, cash register, and adding machine. Flexible with good listening and multitasking skills. Good organizational skills. Make decisions and take charge in manager’s absence. Excellent customer service skills. General knowledge of windows‑based computer systems. Experience working on a computerized inventory control system. Excellent interpersonal skills. Fast thinker with ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Comfortable working with the public. Meet changing conditions and solve problems in a professional manner. #J-18808-Ljbffr
