Tractor DriverThe Tractor Driver safely and effectively transport boats to and from production while maintaining organization in the finished goods fields. This role moves completed boats from production to finished goods field and boats needing to be finished from finished goods field to production.Essential Functions:Performs daily safety inspections on equipment.Reports any faults or safety concerns to safety manager.Operates equipment safely and effectively.Uses equipment to transport boats to and from production and finished goods field (this function runs in harsh weather at times; rain, snow, etc.)All Other Duties As AssignedExperience/Qualifications:Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or EquivalentMust possess and maintain a valid driver's license.Ongoing verification of driving eligibility will be conducted to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position.Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Excellent health and safety knowledge.Basic knowledge of a tractor.Ability to meet tight deadlines.Good communication skills.Ability to work independently and with a team.Travel Requirements:N/APhysical Requirements:Light lifting, under 20 lbs.Light carrying, under 20 lbs.Moderate lifting, 21-59 lbs.Moderate carrying, 21 – 59 lbs.Straight pullingPushingRepeated bendingReaching over shouldersUse of fingersWalkingStandingKneelingRepeated stretchingSpecific visual requirementsAbility to distinguish basic colorsAbility to distinguish shades of colorHearing (aid permitted)Work Environment:Outside and insideExtreme heatExtreme humidityExtreme noise, intermittentDustFumes, smoke, or gassesSolvents (degreasing agents)Slippery or uneven walking surfacesIndependent Judgement:Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
