Manufacturing Automation / Commissioning EngineerLocation: York, PA Type: Direct Hire Contractor Work Model: OnsiteResponsibilitiesBridge the transition of robotic systems from power-up to operational readiness, ensuring systems meet performance expectations.Configure equipment, modify control programs, and debug system performance during commissioning stages.Collaborate with assembly, engineering, and service teams to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues.Support installation, startup, and system validation activities at customer sites, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).Provide technical feedback for continuous improvement and support project closure activities.Perform additional duties related to project success as assigned.RequirementsAssociate's degree in Mechatronics/Robotics or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.3–10 years of industry experience related to robotic systems, automation, or similar fields.Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members regarding system performance and troubleshooting.Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.Understanding of pneumatic systems and structured text programming.Strong problem-solving skills with troubleshooting experience.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Advanced computer skills; experience with robotics, vision systems, or 3D CAD software is preferred.This role requires travel up to 25% and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
