Position Summary: The Janitor is responsible for general cleaning of common areas, trash and recycling disposal and major floor care projects. Primary Responsibilities: General cleaning of common areas. Picks up and removes trash and recycle from the Community. Maintains floors and carpets within the Community. Banquet and event set up. Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition. Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: High school education or equivalent required. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively. Previous floor maintenance experience preferred but not required. Available seven (7) days per week for work schedule. All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a criminal background check, drug test, tuberculosis skin test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
