Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Vascular Neurology Neuro Critical Care Intensivist – Medical Director Stroke Program to join our team located in Willowbrook, a rapidly growing area located 28 miles north of downtown Houston. The physician will have primary responsibility in ICU care, trained in managing complex neurological illnesses and injuries. The potential candidate will need to be fellowship trained in neurocritical care. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurocritical Care, and either have a Texas License or be in the process of obtaining one.

Job Description 

• Neur ocritical Care / Neurohospitalist

• Medical Director, Comprehensive Stroke Center

• Full-time opportunity

• EPIC EMR System

• Provide Inpatient Neurological care , including ICU and IMU consultation services, with a focus on comp lex neurological and cerebrovascular conditions. 

• Lead the Comprehensive Stroke Center, overseeing quality initiatives, accreditation standards, performance metrics, and program development. 

Qualifications:

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

• Comprehensive Stroke Center – Vascular Fellowship preferred

• Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing. 

• Candidates with Leadership experience preferred
