Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care for patients undergoing non-invasive cardiology procedures
• Support and assist with procedures including TEE, cardioversions, and stress testing
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3 across pre/post bays and procedure areas
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Participate in holiday coverage as required by unit scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license (or compact eligibility)
• Active BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross (required)
• Minimum 24 months of current experience in pre/post-op, PACU, or cardiac/cardiology setting
• First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of experience
• EPIC EMR experience required
• TEE and cardioversion experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stress testing experience
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months
