Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a telemetry unit. This position requires a strong foundation in cardiac rhythm interpretation, respiratory care, and the administration of cardiac drips.Unit InformationUnit: Telemetry 3 SouthNumber of Beds: 34 private roomsStaffing: Day Shift: Charge Nurse, 7 RNs, 3 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Unit ClerkNight Shift: Charge Nurse, 7 RNs, 3 PCTsPatient Ratios: 5:1Type of Equipment: GE Telemetry, Pyxis, Welch Allen Vital Sign MonitorsEMR: MeditechQualificationsRequired Skills: Cardiac Rhythm InterpretationRespiratory experience, including advanced airways and oxygen managementAdministration of non-titrated cardiac dripsPreferred Certifications: ACLS/ALSResponsibilitiesAs a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will be responsible for:Performing various procedures, including stress tests, heart catheterization, and CABG.Conducting paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube management.Team EnvironmentIdeal candidates will be team players who effectively collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the unit culture.Additional InformationCertifications Required: CPRFloating Areas: Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding for this level of careDress Code: Navy scrubs requiredWeekend Expectations: Every other weekend schedulingWe look forward to bringing a passionate and skilled RN into our telemetry team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
