Rapid Prototype Fabricator

Job Summary Responsible for assembling products/prototypes using tools, machines, and their own hands; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Summary of Essential Job Functions Position involves, but is not limited to: Handling material and operating equipment. Benching tooling (sanding to proper surface finish). Build up modeling board for CNC cutting. Benching of rapid prototype parts (SLA, FDM and Urethane). Composite Lay-up (fiberglass and carbon fiber). Priming and painting. Vac-forming and part trimming. Silicone molds. Vac-casting. Self-starter who is comfortable working in a shop environment. Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work with your hands. Supply own tools. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
