Salary: Up to $72,000 annually

Job Description

The Owner Relations Manager will play a key role in maintaining positive relationships with individual condominium owners while supporting the continued success of the property's hotel rental management program.

The primary focus of this position is owner retention and relationship management , ensuring existing owners receive exceptional service, clear communication, and ongoing support. Additionally, this individual will help identify opportunities to introduce the hotel's rental management program to new and existing owners who are not currently participating.

Reporting to the Director of Owner Relations, this individual will collaborate closely with hotel leadership, property management, reservations, sales, and front office teams to provide a seamless experience for property owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with existing condominium owners and prospective rental program participants.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for owner inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Support owner retention efforts through proactive communication, relationship development, and exceptional service.
• Identify opportunities to introduce and promote the hotel's rental management program to nonparticipating owners and new property investors.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of rental program benefits, management agreements, occupancy trends, and financial performance.
• Review rental activity, occupancy, average daily rates (ADR), and other performance indicators to effectively communicate with owners.
• Coordinate with real estate professionals, property managers, and prospective buyers regarding rental management opportunities.
• Monitor changes in unit ownership and proactively establish relationships with new owners.
• Maintain accurate owner records, contact databases, reports, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to address operational concerns affecting owners and their units.
• Assist with owner communications, program materials, presentations, and ongoing retention initiatives.
• Support the Director of Owner Relations with departmental projects, reporting, and administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel operations, condominium-hotel management, property management, owner relations, or a related hospitality field.
• Previous condo-hotel or vacation rental management experience highly preferred.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, clients, or hospitality partners.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service background with the ability to professionally handle sensitive situations and resolve concerns.
• Understanding of hotel operations, occupancy, rental performance, and property management practices preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in account management, hospitality sales, real estate services, or client retention will also be considered.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Hawaiʻi lodging and accommodation taxes (GET/TAT/OTAT) is a plus.
• Japanese language proficiency is a plus but not required.
