WHAT THIS IS

New Era Financial is a life insurance agency headquartered in San Antonio, TX — 334+ agents, licensed in all 50 states. We buy leads: real people who already asked for life insurance information online. Your job is to call them, understand what they need, educate them, present the right option, close when it makes sense, and follow up. No cold calling. No door knocking. No pressuring your friends and family.

THE TRUTH, UP FRONT

• This is a 1099 independent contractor role. 100% commission. No salary. No guaranteed income. If you need a guaranteed paycheck, stop reading and don't apply — no hard feelings.
• Building this aggressively looks like 10–12 hour days in your first 3–6 months. Nobody clocks you in and nobody chases you. You hold yourself accountable or you fail.
• You will hear "no" constantly. If rejection breaks you, this business will break you.
• Real businesses reinvest. Eventually you'll put both time AND money into your own operation — leads, licenses, tools. If your answer to that is always "no," you don't want a business — you want the rewards of one.

HOW YOU GET PAID

The insurance carriers — A-rated, multi-billion-dollar companies — pay you directly. New Era never touches, holds, or docks your money. Every policy pays three ways: an advance up front (75% — your first nine months paid early), a back end paid in months 10–12, and residuals of 5–8% per policy starting after year one. The full comp grid is shown to you on day one, and you climb it by production — nothing else. Advances are advances: if business falls off early, unearned money is returned. We teach you to write business that stays on the books (~96% persistency across our agency).

WHAT IT COSTS YOU TO START

Your state license — roughly $100–$200, paid to the state, never to us. Pass your exam within your first 7 days and we reimburse 100% of it. We cover your pre-licensing course and study material. No recruiting fees, no starting fees, no training fees. You can even earn before you're licensed by setting appointments that a licensed manager closes.

WHAT YOU GET

• Two ways in: Sponsored — we fund your leads and systems while you build skill — or Independent — you fund your own operation for higher comp and full ownership from day one.
• Training every single morning. End-of-day reviews of your day and your stats Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Remote agents get Zoom training every day plus Tuesday/Thursday evening sessions on building the business itself.
• A monthly in-person Training Camp in San Antonio — most remote agents start their career there. Perform, and we've sponsored extended stays.
• Live mentorship from top-1% producers in this industry.

REQUIREMENTS

• Able to obtain a state life insurance license (we guide you through the entire process)
• No experience required — we teach the business
• Remote is available and it is harder; it runs on your discipline. San Antonio agents are in the office — that's the standard.
