Assistant Project Manager

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join their expanding team. Description The Assistant Project Manager will: Support Project Managers throughout all phases of construction projects Assist with project scheduling, coordination, and day-to-day project administration Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and consultants Assist with contract administration and procurement activities Track project budgets, commitments, and cost reports Help manage permitting, inspections, and regulatory requirements Monitor project progress and communicate updates to the project team Assist with project buyout and subcontractor management Support Quality Assurance and Quality Control initiatives Maintain accurate project records and construction software databases Assist with project closeout documentation and turnover procedures Profile The successful Assistant Project Manager will have: 1-5 years of construction experience with a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or related construction company Commercial construction experience preferred Bachelor\'s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred Experience with RFIs, submittals, project documentation, and construction coordination Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Desire to advance into a Project Manager role Job Offer The Assistant Project Manager will receive: Bonus structure Cell phone and laptop Paid time off, personal days, and sick days Excellent benefits including health, medical, vision, and dental insurance Professional development and mentorship opportunities Clear career advancement path Strong project pipeline and long-term stability Collaborative company culture with opportunities for growth MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual\'s status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
