Job Summary
The Direct Sales Manager is responsible for leading, supervising, and motivating a team of direct sales representatives while actively participating in door-to-door sales activities. This role combines hands-on selling with team leadership to achieve sales targets, expand the customer base, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with strong communication, coaching, and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of direct sales representatives.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular field coaching and provide ongoing training to improve sales techniques.
- Develop strategies to increase customer acquisition and market penetration.
- Ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.
Door-to-Door Sales
- Personally conduct door-to-door sales to generate new customers and demonstrate best sales practices.
- Promote company products and services through face-to-face customer interactions.
- Build strong customer relationships and maintain a professional company image.
- Handle customer inquiries, objections, and complaints effectively.
- Identify new sales opportunities within assigned territories.
Team Supervision
- Schedule and assign daily sales routes and territories.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and field activities.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales representatives.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, and customer service.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Ensure accurate documentation of customer information and sales transactions.
- Coordinate with management regarding sales strategies and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of direct sales experience, including door-to-door sales.
- At least 1–2 years of supervisory or sales management experience preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software is an advantage.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Salary Range : $80,275 - $105,520 true base pay with commission
