Responsibilities Evaluate new equipment and technologies options. Make sound recommendations on the best option to pursue. Support manufacturing operations through process control, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. Assist in equipment evaluations, capability studies, and reliability improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (quality, automation, maintenance, product engineering). Learn, integrate, and support automation technologies, including mechatronics-based systems. Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals to component design changes, fixtures, and tooling improvements. Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action activities. Work closely with manufacturing facilities to understand their needs when implementing new equipment or technology Assure a high standard of quality in your own work and in the work of others on your team via good design principles, process improvements, safety, aesthetics, smart testing and review practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related automation/ manufacturing discipline with at least 3.0 GPA (or equivalent). 5 years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or mechanical systems. Strong understanding of mechanical fundamentals (tolerances, materials, assembly methods). Experience with CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, or similar). Exposure in automation, mechatronics, or electromechanical systems is a plus.
