Remote Sensing Scientist

Radiance Technologies, an employee‑owned company, is seeking a highly qualified scientist to support Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) production and advance non‑literal spectral, thermal, and SAR analytical processes. Responsibilities Utilize advanced GEOINT tools to analyze and exploit remotely sensed data and produce GEOINT products. Provide technical leadership to teams performing exploitation and process development. Analyze and develop processes to support the exploitation of unique, anomalous, and difficult datasets using engineering principles and physics‑based analytical approaches. Perform algorithm development for complex data exploitation processes. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in a STEM field (Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Remote Sensing, or other relevant technical field). Experience in processing and analyzing remote sensing data. Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility. Understanding of signal processing techniques for solving new problems. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Strong technical writing and briefing skills. Desired Skills and Qualifications Interpretation of image‑based data. Experience with ENVI, ArcGIS, and/or similar software tools. Ability to code/script in Python, IDL, or similar languages. Radiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
