Summary of Responsibilities  

The Lead Carpenter at KGT Builders oversees all on-site work from start to finish, with a focus on  high-end finish carpentry and detailed interior craftsmanship .  You will ensure projects stay on schedule, on budget, and meet the highest quality standards. You will lead subcontractors, perform advanced carpentry, maintain team relationships, and keep the jobsite safe clean and organized. 

What You’ll Do  

• Run your jobsite from start to finish  
• Lead and manage subcontractors and daily site activity  
• Perform and oversee high-end finish carpentry work (trim, cabinetry, detailed interior finishes, etc.) 
• Keep projects on schedule and solve problems proactively  
• Be the main point of contact for PM & Team, keep them updated  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite  
• Collaborate with the team to keep everything aligned 

What We Are Looking For  

• 6+ years of residential carpentry experience, with proven high-end finish carpentry experience required 
• Experience working on luxury/custom homes with detailed interior finishes (trim, cabinetry, fine finish work) 
• Strong leadership and jobsite management skills  
• Ability to read plans and fully understand project scope  
• Organized, proactive, and accountable  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle 
• Able to handle physical work consistently

• Starting at $29 per hour
