Location: Okeechobee, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for occasional weekend coverage.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Physical Therapist to join our rehab team. The ideal candidate will provide quality therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions to meet patient needs. We strive for efficiency and teamwork, aiming for three units per hour worked.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations to develop effective treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document therapy sessions accurately using the Meditech system.
• Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• PT or DPT degree from an accredited program.
• Active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Previous experience in inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
