Medical Technologist PositionTexas Health Care, a Privia Medical Group North Texas is seeking a Medical Technologist to work in their Fort Worth Laboratory. Must be an MT or MLT generalist experience preferred (Molecular). The ideal candidate will be collaborative, detail-oriented, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.The Medical Technologist must be qualified to assist the Laboratory Manager and Technical Consultant with the supervision of laboratory personnel and the performance of moderate and high-complexity testing in the laboratory.The Medical Technologist's responsibilities include:Advanced computer and keyboarding skills.Ability and willingness to work independently as well as in a team environment.Advanced knowledge of laboratory compliance rules and regulations including CAP and CLIAExcellent communication skillsAssist in the maintenance and operation of all laboratory equipment. Monitors daily, weekly, and monthly instrument maintenance as indicated.Adheres to the laboratory's quality control policies and documents all QC activities, instrument and procedural calibrations, and instrument maintenance.Records proper lot numbers of all controls, calibrators, and reagents.Assists in proficiency testing by assigning PT samples to testing personnel, able to perform sample analysis, and reporting PT results.Panther and GeneXpert.COBAS 5800MLT with ASCP or AMT certification.Evening shift will be 4 pm to midnight.
