Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - Experience in labor and delivery settings handling high-risk perinatal care - Ability to float to postpartum as needed - Flexibility to work weekends and holidays Description: Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery with experience in high-risk perinatal care is needed. The role involves providing comprehensive maternity services in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in similar settings. Experience in facilities with a high volume of deliveries is preferred, but candidates with a range of experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will be familiar with handling various procedures and emergencies in labor and delivery. Responsibilities include providing care during labor, supporting postpartum care, and assisting with neonates. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential for high-quality patient care. Flexibility and the ability to float between departments is required. Candidates must possess necessary certifications and licenses before starting the position. The ability to support and educate new families is a vital aspect of this role.
