Job Description
Title: Sonographer - Ultrasound

Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 40
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience
- Echo and vascular experience
- Ability to perform echocardiograms with Definity Contrast
- Ability to perform various echocardiogram and vascular studies (TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous dopplers, carotid doppler, arterial doppler, ABI, pericardiocentesis, thrombin injections, and vein mapping exams)
- Ability to start own IV
- Experience with MediTech EMR
- Active ARDMS Certification
- Active American Heart Association BLS

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic exams/procedures in the Ultrasound department efficiently according to physician's orders.
- Complete studies in a timely manner and assist colleagues during downtimes.
- Organize workload to expedite patient care and communicate pertinent information to other technologists.
- Assist physicians in performing radiology procedures as necessary.
- Maintain a clean work area and follow safety and infection control policies.
- Ensure equipment is handled safely and cleaned per departmental guidelines.
- Respond to on-call duties within the required timeframe.
- Participate in required in-services and meetings.

Compliance / Notes:
- Follow attendance and tardy policies.
- Adhere to dress code and appearance standards.
