Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg in Utica, New York. This travel assignment starts 10/05/2026 and runs for 16 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,251 to $2,297, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is Night, 12x3, in a hospital-based medical-surgical setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients on rotation, including post-operative care and common med-surg diagnoses
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient responses, and manage IV therapy and drainage/feeding tubes as needed
- Monitor vital signs, assess for clinical changes, and escalate concerns to the medical team promptly
- Document care and treatment in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and participate in care planning and handoffs
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other disciplines; assist with discharge planning and patient/family education
- Float to other med-surg units as required, while maintaining patient safety and care standards

Requirements
- Active New York RN license; Nursys verification showing an ACTIVE NY license and all active RN licenses
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 2+ years of Med/Surg nursing experience
- Travel experience required; Epic EMR (EPIC) experience preferred
- RTO (requested time off) must be included at time of submission
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics; ability to work in a fast-paced hospital med-surg setting
