Swift is unable to sponsor an employment authorization for this position now or in the future.What to Expect:In this role you will: Work with the Product Owner and Squad members to design, develop, test, configure, upgrade, and maintain Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls with virtual instances (VDOM/VSX) in line with the agreed requirementsWork with team to implement and operate your solutionsDeploy infrastructure and network software according to change management processesCollaborate with internal and external customers following DevOps/Agile principles and best practicesAssist in developing and maintaining technical documentationInteract and collaborate with other internal teams to ensure excellent customer satisfactionHandle issues always focusing on continuous improvement: you will automate, educate and share knowledge transparently.Opportunity to develop yourself and others in a true DevOps agile environment.This position is mission critical and offers flexible work (min. 2 days onsite and max. 3 days from home/per week)Weekend deployment activities and on-call on a rotational basis with peer team members (Estimated: One Saturday out of 4 weekends)Required technical skillsBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Or equivalent work experience.8-10 years of experience in a technical operational support areaHands-on experience with Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls or similar technologiesHand-on experience with Firewall management platforms Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, Checkpoint Smart-1Familiarity with security policy management tools like Algosec Security Management SystemFamiliarity with SD-WAN and Zero TrustCapable of troubleshooting complex network flows, interconnectivity, performance and configuration issuesProvisions/executes firewall requests in accordance with security policies and standards on all environments.Familiarity with concepts like Zero Touch/Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)Scripting in Shell, Ansible, Python or PerlFamiliarity with Ansible automation platform to automate tasksFamiliarity with source code repository like Git, BitbucketProfessional skills & competenciesAutonomous, driven, with strong ability to quickly adapt and respond to change.Customer oriented and quality mindset – we continually strive to deliver true customer value.Strong analytical skills, open-minded, solutions oriented, and a true team player – gaining energy through collaboration with others.Act as a technical lead to bring in Network Architecture design and drive to implementationDesired technical skillsCertification in Fortinet FCP/FCSS Network Security, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE, Cisco CCNADaily and Weekly FW rule-base management (provisioning, assurance etc.,)Contribute, plan and execute Firewall product roadmap/evolution – upgrades and new featuresIndependently deploy a new infrastructure/environment i.e. from High Level Design to Detailed Design to DeploymentIdentifies problems and inefficiencies within our network and organizational workflows and assists with any recommended remediation/ changes to correct (example: script and automate routine tasks)Participate in the evaluation of new network technologiesFamiliarity with Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow tools for collaborationKnowledge/experience operating in Linux operating systemKnowledge of CI/CD pipeline and Automation technologies for build and deployment – Ansible, JenkinsThe estimated salary range for a new hire in this position in Virginia is $101,000 USD Annual MINIMUM to $150,000 USD Annual MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
