Your expertise will help patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, improving their overall quality of life. Responsibilities:
• Assist physical therapists in conducting patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions
• Implement treatment plans, including exercises, stretching, and strength training, under the supervision of physical therapists
• Provide direct patient care, including transfer training, ambulation, and exercises
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in physical therapy assistant or related field preferred
• Current PTA certification or eligibility for certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
