Service Advisor

McSweeney CDJR has a Service Advisor position available for the right person with experience, a proven track record of customer satisfaction, exceeding goal projections, great shop communications and a can-do attitude. • Serve as the main point of contact for customers who need automotive service or repairs
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
• Provide recommendations for necessary repairs and maintenance based on customer concerns and vehicle inspections
• Explain repair estimates and obtain customer approval for work to be performed
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions

• Previous experience in the automotive industry, preferably as a Service Advisor or in a related role
• Knowledge of auto body repair, suspension, diesel engine repair, brake repair, and other automotive services
• Familiarity with dealership operations and procedures
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills for entering and retrieving customer information
• Tekion and wiADVISOR experience a plus
• Available to work Saturdays
