Crane Operator – Class B CDL What You’ll Do: Deliver materials and equipment to construction sites, ensuring timely and safe service. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, demonstrating Diligent’s commitment to customer obsession. Operate a knuckle boom flatbed truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational readiness. Load and unload materials using the knuckle boom, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage. Assess and optimize load distribution to enhance vehicle performance and safety. Identify and propose new insights and improvements to business practices, fostering a culture of innovation and curiosity. Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to share best practices and enhance operational efficiency. Work closely with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and service requests. Support colleagues in achieving team goals and embodying the core value of teamwork. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of self and others during operations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and maintenance as required by company policy and regulatory standards. We’d love to hear from you if you: You have Crane experience (Hiab, PM, and or Palfinger) also plus (NCCCO certification is preferred). You are physically fit to perform the job, which requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds (you will be exposed to a physical environment outdoors in various weather conditions, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday) You have a Class A or B CDL license for over 5 years, and you like to be home every night. You put safety 1st and are steadfast in keeping people safe from harm . You can safely operate a knuckle boom flatbed truck. You are comfortable driving in and out of tight construction job sites and downtown areas. You can perform a daily, 360-degree inspection of the truck and equipment before taking the vehicle out on the road and upon return. If you have any experience in waste, construction, demolition, or driving, don't forget to mention it!
