Pediatric Registered Nurse
Pediatric Registered Nurse position starts on 1/05/27. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts from 1900 to 0700, with 10 weekend shifts over an 8-week block. The nurse will float between Levels 7, 8, 9, 10, CPCU, and the North/South Campuses. Two out of three holidays are required. There are blackout periods for RTO from 11/25-27, 12/23-26, and 12/30-1/2, with a maximum of 4 days RTO, and no RTO for the first two weeks. There is no on-call requirement.

Requirements:
- Active RN License
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- PALS Certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Pediatric setting
- Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Duties Responsibilities:
Pediatric nurse (RN) specializes in providing age-appropriate care for children or adolescents with a variety of physical and mental disabilities and/or acute and chronic medical and surgical conditions.
- Provide comprehensive, age-appropriate care to patients aged approximately 30 days to 18 years.
- Document the patient's symptoms and medical history and provide bedside nursing care to children on the floor. Draw blood, administer medication and give childhood vaccinations.
- Assist pediatrician during a patient examination.
