Security Dispatcher

Job TitlePrimary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Receive and prioritize incoming calls from various sources, including emergency services, customers, and internal staff.Gather relevant information from callers to assess the nature of the situation and determine appropriate responseDispatch appropriate personnel, such as law enforcement officers or service technicians, to designated locationsMaintain accurate records of all calls received and actions takenMonitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to identify potential security threats or incidentsCollaborate with other departments to ensure efficient coordination of resourcesProvide clear and concise instructions to field personnel regarding assignments and prioritiesUtilize computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and other software applications to document incidents and generate reportsHandle escalated calls or complaints with professionalism and effective conflict management techniquesAny other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficient in using computer systems, including CAD software and Microsoft Office SuiteRemain calm under pressure and make quick decisionsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think criticallyEffective conflict management skillsAbility of simple math and complex reading, writing, and task completion skills is requiredMust have the following skills: clerical, compiling, coordination, analyzing, supervising, instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision makingFlexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictateMust be a minimum of 21 years of ageEducation and/or Experience:Previous experience in dispatching, loss prevention, or surveillance is preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.Certificates and Licenses:Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License & Alcohol Awareness card.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the team member may be constantly sitting, standing, occasionally walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, kneeling, climbing and balancing during the duration of their shift. Team member must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 75lbs occasionally. The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet and hands and require frequent light and occasional firm/strong grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be constantly required. Constant use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision. Team Member will perform work face-to-face including verbal contact with others on extended shifts around computer equipment and other electrical devices.
