We are seeking a skilled and reliable Floor Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will install, repair, and maintain various types of flooring, including carpet, vinyl, laminate, hardwood, and tile, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install flooring materials according to specifications and blueprints.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors as needed.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
- Communicate with clients or supervisors regarding project progress and issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in flooring installation preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements, plans, and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
