(USA) Merchandising Lead

Position Summary Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, providing guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology, assisting members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting the company's products and services. Key Responsibilities Assists management with the supervision of associates in an assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, providing direction and guidance on member service approaches, and ensuring member complaints are resolved according to company guidelines. Supports the Open Door Policy: participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates. Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, organizes and maintains the sales floor, and completes paperwork logs and documentation in accordance with company policies. Maintains safety of the facility, conducts safety sweeps, follows procedures for forklift spotting and handling hazardous materials, and reports unsafe situations. Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation, handles returns and claims, zones the area, stocks and organizes merchandise, sets up displays, removes damaged goods, signs and prices merchandise, and secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise. Monitors food and merchandise quality, ensures proper rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards, and maintains merchandising area categories, stocking, zoning, and cleaning across all departments. Oversees the picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, ensuring products are selected and staged per company policy. Develops, communicates, and implements processes to meet business needs by collaborating with teams, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities. Supports and enforces compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Participates in teams, coordinates assignments, provides advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and quality goals are met, and models adaptation to change. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. 6 months retail experience AND 6 months customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications Leading a team with supervising experience, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workload.
