Personal Banker

Position Overview As a Personal Banker within PNC's Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Berlin, MD at the Ocean Pines Branch. Your role involves building and deepening the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities while ensuring a high level of customer experience and risk management. Job Description / Responsibilities Acquire and expand the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing and driving new revenue and loyalty initiatives. Engage customers through outbound calling, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement. Deliver full PNC conversations during every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions. Collaborate with ecosystem partners and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships. Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to mitigate and solve customer problems effectively. Manage risk by adhering to all policies and procedures, exercising sound judgment within established limits. Participate in branch daily operations to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent. 3+ years of relevant experience or product knowledge. Knowledge of banking products, retail lending, and prospecting. Proficiency in digital tools and effective communication. Strong customer service, proactive sales, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a matrixed environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused mindset. Compliance with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and risk assessment practices. Education & Certifications Associate’s degree or equivalent education. No specific certifications are required for this position. Pay Base Salary: $41,250.00 – $68,750.00, inclusive of geographic and individual factors.
