Job Summary:
An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Wilson, North Carolina. This role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of assignment. The position offers the opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility with diverse patient populations and a variety of clinical cases.

Job Details:

• Location: Wilson, North Carolina
• Shift: Varies (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Associates of Nursing degree, two or more years of Emergency Department experience, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Meditech electronic health record experience, team-oriented and positive attitude, engaged personality, experience managing respiratory distress, overdoses, congestive heart failure (CHF), dialysis, hypertension (HTN) cases
• Additional Information: Patient ratios typically range from 1:4 to 1:5, depending on patient acuity. Clinical equipment includes GE monitors and standard emergency department tools. The patient population encompasses all age groups, with common diagnoses including respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and HTN. Scrub attire in any color is acceptable.
