Sr. Consultant: OpenShift & Advanced Cluster Security

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Consultant focused on OpenShift & Advanced Cluster Security. The Senior Consultant will serve as a trusted technical advisor, specializing in the design, deployment, and operationalization of enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms built on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4. This role is deeply hands-on, leading platform deployments and upgrades while ensuring clusters are secure, scalable, and production-ready. The consultant will implement and operationalize Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes, embedding security controls, compliance policies, and vulnerability management directly into the container lifecycle. A strong emphasis is placed on release engineering for containers, where the consultant will design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds, testing, and deployments aligned with modern DevSecOps practices. Additionally, the role will drive GitOps adoption using Red Hat OpenShift GitOps (Argo CD), enabling declarative configuration management, environment consistency, and controlled application promotion across clusters. The Senior Consultant will collaborate closely with platform, security, and application teams to define best practices, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor team members, while translating business and operational requirements into reliable, cloud-native platform solutions.
