• Types of Cases: Emergency Medicine; evaluation, diagnosis, and management of emergency department patients

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: NP: Active certification through AANP or ANCC; PA: Active NCCPA certification
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS; Preferred: 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine or related acute care experience (new graduates may be considered)
• Licensure:
  • NP: Active unrestricted Tennessee RN License; Active Tennessee Nurse Practitioner License; Active Tennessee DEA Registration with Tennessee address; Prescriptive Authority required
  • PA: Active unrestricted Tennessee PA License; Active DEA Registration with Tennessee address (DEA schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5)
