Independent Living Skills Trainer (ILST) – Acquired Brain Injury Program Location: Meriden, CT Pay: $18/hour Schedule: Flexible Full-Time & Part-Time opportunities (Day & Evening Shifts) Organization: Project Genesis, Inc. We’re looking for compassionate and reliable Independent Living Skills Trainers (ILST) to join our Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) team in Plainfield, CT. You’ll work one-on-one with individuals, helping them rebuild life skills, gain confidence, and live more independently — all while being part of a mission-driven nonprofit that truly values its team. What You’ll Do Support individuals in developing independent living skills such as daily routines, budgeting, cooking, and communication. Provide non-medical care, supervision, and socialization based on each client’s personalized service plan. Encourage, guide, and celebrate progress — big and small! Be a positive, steady presence as your clients build stronger, more fulfilling lives.
