Do you want to be a part of the growing Eno family? Job description: Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RVT or experienced assistant to join the Eno family. You will help provide exceptional care and support to our patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal welfare, have experience, and be committed to working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Assist veterinarians with routine medical procedures, including but not limited to vaccinations, surgeries, and laboratory tests. - Provide quality care and handling of animals in a fear free manner. - Maintain clean and organized treatment areas and kennels. - Prepare animals for examination collecting samples for laboratory testing. - Assist with laboratory tests, such as blood draws and urinalysis. - Administer medications, as directed by a veterinarian. - Support the veterinary team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records. - Provide exceptional customer service, including communicating with pet owners and addressing their concerns. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and maintaining proper hygiene. Requirements - A willingness to learn. - Experience working with animals in a veterinary setting, minimum of 6 months. - Knowledge of animal husbandry and veterinary care practices. - Willing to become fear free certified and use the fear free protocols. - Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, as needed. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with pet owners and veterinarians. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Skills - Animal restraint, fear free preferred. - Sample collection: blood, urine, ear swabs, etc - History taking.
