Travel RN - Emergency Room

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room is responsible for providing exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies, the nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and clinical competencies in anticipation and planning for safe delivery of patient care. This role requires effective delegation of patient care priorities and supervision of assigned personnel.

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities appropriately.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel.

This position is for night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
• Valid Alabama RN license required.
