What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients, respecting privacy and dignity
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Adjust communication and care techniques for diverse patient populations
• Educate patients and families about treatments, procedures, and recovery plans
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
• Manage resources efficiently, including patient flow and documentation in EPIC
• Adhere to safety protocols and handle biological specimens in accordance with infection control standards

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications current
• At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience, with proficiency in EPIC documentation
• Excellent communication skills and strong clinical judgment
• Ability to perform physical demands, including pushing/pulling and working in a healthcare environment with exposure to communicable diseases
