Exciting Emergency Department Nurse Opportunity!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Start Date: ASAP
- First Time Traveler: Yes (with ED experience)
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years (Grossing experience HARDSTOP)
- Hospital Type: Acute Care Facility
- Required CA State License: Yes
- Pending License Accepted: Yes
- RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days

Position Highlights:


- Patient Ratios: n/a
- Daily Visits: 120 visits/day
- Facility Beds: 26
- Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
- Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation

Skills Required:


- General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Isolation Precautions/PPE
- Level II Trauma Center experience
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Triage
- Trauma Level II experience

Certifications Needed:


- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
- TNCC (prefer in hand, can send as SCREEN if willing to obtain prior to start)

* Have you ever worked at a facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem? If yes, please include location and dates worked.
- References Required: 2 covering 1 year within the last 3 years.

Important Notes:


- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby.
- Candidates should not contact facility directly unless for an agreed-upon interview communicated by AM or PM.
- Modules are non-billable and completed pre-start and during orientation.
