Warehouse Manager
Partners Personnel is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager for a growing manufacturing and distribution operation in the Houston area. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, logistics, safety compliance, and team performance.
The ideal candidate will have strong warehouse leadership experience, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to drive operational efficiency while maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, staging, shipping, and logistics.
- Lead, train, schedule, and develop warehouse associates to achieve productivity and safety goals.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to monitor inventory and warehouse performance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate workflow between warehouse, production, and logistics teams.
- Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and storage utilization.
- Assist with departmental planning, budgeting, and operational reporting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse leadership or management experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment required.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Odoo experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial warehouse operations preferred.
- Military leadership experience is highly valued; veterans are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds when necessary.
- Must be able to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
