RN - Extended Recovery Unit

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practices and critical thinking. Responsibilities Deliver individualized care tailored to patient demographics and cultural diversity. Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education. Coordinate and document safe, quality care in collaboration with healthcare team members. Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to promote a skilled and professional nursing workforce. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in protocol development, resource management, and continuous professional development. Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and efficient clinical environment. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). Active RN license (single or multi-state compact). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum of 5 years of RN experience, preferably with direct patient care. Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
