Server

SUMMARY

The Server is responsible to sell and effectively serve quality products in a professional and hospitable manner to guests. This requires thorough product knowledge of all items on our menu, competence in service procedures and commitment to customer satisfaction. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of products and services.
• Knowledge of products to provide customers with recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders.
• Provides information to help food and beverage selections.
• Strictly adheres to laws governing the sale of alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain store safety standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding people skills.
• Well-groomed, professional appearance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• TABC certificate.
• Previous experience working as a server is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires (nights, weekends and holidays). Must have reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent bending, lifting, and kneeling.
